Rest in Seas
“Rest in Seas”
by Jayleen Weaver (a) and Greg Thelen (w, l)
Last year, Jayleen and I submitted a pitch to the Bones of the Coast anthology, but it was rejected. We decided to make the comic anyway. I think it turned pretty dang awesome! Click CONTINUED to read the whole thing.
Comic stores! Selling my comics!
Hey gang, I know I don’t post much here, but I’m planning on changing that soon. While I figure out what exactly I want to post here, I did want to let you know that my mini-comic for Amanda Green, SIA, is available to purchase on these here Internets! This is a story that is not on our website, and it’s a completely stand-alone tale of a day in the life our hero as a giant robot guy attacks the city. Y’know, the usual. Except for when Amanda runs into a little girl all by her lonesome, and robots attack.
So, sounds like fun, yeah? If you want to read the comic on your computer device, then you can stroll on over to Gumroad and pay a couple bucks for it! (Heck, you can throw in a few extra bucks if you want. I won’t stop you!) Now, would you like to read that story PLUS the Miranda Ng backup story which takes place the same day and has Miranda totally punching a robot?! And would you like to by a New Romford Free Press sampler book with a couple stories not online? And would you like to buy some fancy, schmancy superhero prints while you’re at it? Well, my wonderful, beautiful, intelligent reader, you’re in luck! You can saunter on over to Big Cartel and buy all those things with just a few clicks of a button (probably more if you’re typing in stuff)!
See, I told you that sounded like fun! I’ve also set up some buttons on the sidebar here for future readers, but if you’re reading this, then you’re in on the ground floor of this operation. You’re like George Clooney and/or Matt Damon at the bottom of that casino vault doing some jazzy heist shenanigans and—wait, I don’t think this metaphor works. I started thinking of ground floor, then that got me thinking of Ocean’s Eleven because of the final act, and you know what, never mind. You can still imagine that you’re George Clooney and/or Matt Damon, though. No one can take that away from you, dear reader!
Now where was I? Oh yes, please buy my comics. Thank you!
Greetings!
Hello! My name is Greg Thelen (which I’m sure you’ve figured out already), and this is my revamped personal website!
The top slider image will show you all of my current projects, and each image is a clickable link, so feel free to click on things. Today, Amanda Green, SIA, and the New Romford Free Press both returned from a month-long break for season 3 of each. Please check them out if you can! Marili and I are working hard on making awesome comics for you!
Now, this site still has some kinks to work out, but I think I have most of the links and whatnot here. I’m thinking of writing some blog posts here, so if you have some questions for me or topic ideas, let me know!
And of course, thank you for stopping by and checking out my comics! 🙂
